Next ACT Test is June 11

Registration for the June 11 National ACT test is May 6 and will cost $63 for the test, and $88 for the test plus the writing test.. If you are willing to pay more for the test, you can sign up for late registration until May 20 for an additional $36. If you really procrastinate, you can sign up for standby testing by June 3 for an additional $63, but you will not be guaranteed a seat. If you do not get to take the test the stand by fee will be refunded. When you register, don't forget to print your test ticket, and bring your driver's license or state identification card, your number two pencils, and your approved calculator. Basketball

Look at our basketball teams!

Both the boys and the girls basketball teams are on their way to the state finals this week after both teams worked hard and had an outstanding season. The first game is in Sheridan on Tuesday. If you can go, please do - as a gym full of cheering patriots can only help them win. We are so proud of our teams and their outstanding coaches for their hard work and dedication. Go Patriots!

 
 
ESports is Back!

ESports is Back!

Arkansas AAA changed the rules on us this season and is taking the top 64 teams for playoffs, not the top 32, which means…we are in! The first game of the Rocket League playoffs will find us facing off against Supra GR from Jonesboro HS tomorrow, Nov 29 @ 4pm. We will be streaming this match live on our Twitch channel, twitch.tv/lrparkview, so please join us for kickoff and hang around for some fast-paced soccer using rocket powered cars. Emmory Simmons took the conference title, ten gave the other schools a run for their money at state. If she is dominating like this as a sophomore, we can't wait to see what two years of practice will do! Go Patriots and Go Emmory - you are a Tennis Tornado!

 
 
Robotics

Real Steel Robotics takes the prize(s)!

Congratulations to our Real Steele Robotics team. They will also be featured in this week's LRSD Superintendent's Citation Program.  We know why, just look at this list of awards from the BEST Robotics Competition below:Fourth place Engineering Notebook; Fourth place Robot Performance; Second place Exhibit Booth; Second place Marketing Presentation, and Second BEST AWARD overall. Wish them luck this weekend, because they are headed to compete in the Texas ​BEST Regional Championship in Dallas on December 2nd-4th.
